Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of AfricanDesigns as a buyer, a designer, or both. They are a working draft for this build and will be finalised with legal counsel before launch.
1. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. One person or business may hold one account; designers additionally accept the seller terms below.
We may suspend accounts that breach these terms, misrepresent ownership of uploaded work, or attempt to move transactions off-platform to avoid fees.
2. Buying digital products
Digital products are delivered as private, authorised downloads tied to your order. Access is personal to your account and download links expire.
Each product is sold under the licence stated on its listing. Reselling files as-is, or redistributing them as your own template, is not permitted.
3. Selling and commissions
Designers confirm they own or hold the rights to everything they upload, including fonts, photography and illustration assets used inside a template.
A platform commission is deducted from each completed sale. The current rate is shown in your designer dashboard before you publish.
4. Custom work
Custom projects are governed by the accepted proposal: price, deliverables, revision count and delivery date. Funds are held until the order is marked complete.
Disputes are reviewed by our team using the order timeline, messages and delivered files.
5. Prohibited content
Do not upload work that infringes copyright or trademarks, contains hateful or illegal material, or misuses another person's likeness.
We remove infringing listings on valid notice and repeat infringers lose selling access.
